The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Lan Anh - Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Oriol Solà Pardell; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Quang – Director of the International Cooperation Department; Dr. Tran Vu Hai - Deputy Director of the Research Management and Journal Administration Department.
Dr. Oriol Solà Pardell is a civil servant and a career diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2010. He is the First Secretary of the Embassy of Spain in Hanoi and former Deputy Head of Mission in Trinidad and Tobago (2016-2019) and in Afghanistan (2014-2016). He was also seconded to the Energy Division of the regional organization Union for the Mediterranean as a Sustainable Development Expert and he also served at the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for International Cooperation.
Dr. Oriol Solà Pardell holds a doctor of laws degree and a master degree in political science of the University Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and a BA in political science and administration of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (1994-1998).

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Lan Anh expressed her honor to welcome Dr. Oriol Solà Pardell to pay a visit to Hanoi Law University. Vice Rector Vu Thi Lan Anh hoped that in the near future, Hanoi Law University would have more opportunities for academic collaboration with Dr. Oriol Solà Pardell in researching environmental law and organising seminars on climate change and environmental protection . She also expected that Dr. Oriol Solà Pardell would become a bridge connecting Hanoi Law University with Spanish universities to promote training and research cooperation.
